Embercast 0.3.18 is out for Windows and Mac. It's the biggest update yet, and I'm really proud of it.
You can now watch matches while they're being played. Open Watch a match under Online to see every public duel going on right now, then follow it from the court view, from either wizard's own view, from the ember, or with a free camera you fly yourself.
While our community is still small, starting a quick match sends a challenge to everyone who's in the menus. Whoever accepts first plays you, and anyone else can jump in and watch. If you'd rather not get challenges, you can mute them for the day or turn them off in Settings, and you can keep your own matches private.
The Forest Court got a lot of love too. Boosting into the stone no longer buries your wizard in the wall, the banners hang clear of it, and the lantern charm finally hangs at your hip where it belongs.
Replays have sound now, including the videos you save, and saving a video shows a proper progress bar. You can resize, fade or hide name tags in Settings > Graphics so they never cover the ember, and cancelling a quick match search no longer leaves you stuck on an empty room screen.
